These Terms of Use apply to the Navtarang Radio Sydney mobile applications for iOS and Android (the “App”), operated by Navtarang Media Group (“Navtarang”, “we”, “us”, “our”), Sydney, Australia. By downloading or using the App you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The App and the service

The App lets you listen to the live internet broadcast of Navtarang Hindi Radio, Sydney. The App is free to download and use. No account or sign-in is required.

2. Advertising

The App is supported by advertising. Ads are provided by Google AdMob and are shown as a banner under the player and, occasionally, as a full-screen ad after you press Stop. Ads are provided by third parties; we do not endorse advertised products or services and are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or websites. How ad data is handled is explained in our Privacy Policy.

3. Content and copyright

All programs, music, news, announcements, logos and other content in the App and on the broadcast belong to Navtarang or to their respective rights holders. Music is broadcast under the station’s licences with the relevant music rights organisations. The App is for personal, non-commercial listening only.

You must not:

  • record, copy, download, rebroadcast, re-stream or redistribute the radio stream or any part of it;
  • use the App or the stream in a public or commercial venue without the necessary licences;
  • reverse-engineer, modify or interfere with the App, the stream or our servers;
  • use the App in any way that breaks the law.

4. Availability

We aim to keep the stream running at all times, but the App and the broadcast are provided “as is” and “as available”. The stream may be interrupted, changed or discontinued at any time, for example for maintenance, technical problems or reasons outside our control. Streaming uses mobile data; data charges from your provider may apply.

5. Third-party links

The App contains links to our social-media pages and website and may show links in ads. These open in other apps or your browser, where the third party’s own terms and privacy policy apply.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Navtarang is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App or the broadcast. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
