Navtarang Media Group (“Navtarang”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website www.navtarang.com.au and the Navtarang Radio Sydney mobile applications for iOS and Android (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information we collect
Through the Navtarang Radio App
The Navtarang Radio App does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifying information about you. There is no sign-in, account, registration, profile, location tracking, contact-list access, microphone use, or in-app analytics SDK.
When you press play, the App makes a standard HTTPS request to our streaming server in order to receive the live audio broadcast. Our server logs the IP address and the time of connection only to keep the stream reliable and to protect against abuse. Those logs are automatically rotated and deleted within 14 days. They are not linked to any identity and are never shared with third parties.
If you use the App’s share button, the standard iOS / Android share sheet is shown. We do not receive any information about who you share with or whether a share completes.
If you tap a social-media link in the App, the link opens in your phone’s browser or the relevant social-media app. From that point, the third-party platform’s own privacy policy applies, not ours.

Our website uses standard server logs (IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps) for security, debugging, and traffic statistics. The website may also set basic cookies needed for WordPress and its plugins to function (for example, login session cookies for authorised editors). We do not run any third-party advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking pixels on the website.
2. How we use information
- To deliver the live radio stream and keep the website running.
- To diagnose technical problems and protect against abuse or attack.
- To respond to enquiries you send us by email.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not use it for advertising or marketing.
3. Third-party services we rely on
To deliver the audio stream securely the App connects to a streaming relay that we operate on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The relay forwards audio bytes only; it does not log personal information.
The website is hosted on GoDaddy. Apple App Store and Google Play handle App distribution and may collect their own crash and usage diagnostics in accordance with their respective privacy policies, which we do not control.
4. Children’s privacy
The App is suitable for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
5. Your rights
Because the App collects no personal information, there is no personal data of yours for us to provide, correct, or delete. For website-related requests (for example, an email enquiry you previously sent), you may contact us at the address below to ask for a copy of what we hold or to have it deleted.
6. Security
All App traffic to our streaming relay is encrypted with HTTPS / TLS. The website is served over HTTPS. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the limited information we do hold.
7. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be announced on the website’s home page.
